This is the design that inspired Chad Malinowski to begin CMCrochet Designs.
The short, body-framing silhouette is intentionally worn open and does not use a closure. Each version is crocheted intuitively without a commercial garment pattern, making every top an original piece of handmade fashion.
The Magenta and Green versions share a fitted granny-square construction. The Cotton Candy and Black-and-Yellow versions use a related interpretation with a looser, more relaxed fit.
Wear it directly against the skin, layer it over a fitted garment or commission a custom version in another size or color palette.
The Magenta top opened the From Sunrise to Sunset runway show and recreates the original design that inspired the business. It required more than 50 hours to create. The exact runway piece remains available, and future custom recreations can now be completed more efficiently.
