CUSTOM DESIGN
Bring Me the Idea You Can’t Find Anywhere Else.
Start with one of my existing designs or start with nothing but an idea. Either way, your piece becomes its own thing.
Two ways to start. No cookie-cutter ending.
Reimagine an Existing Design
Love something I have already made? We can use it as the starting point and change the size, color, fiber, proportions, details, hardware or finishing so your version feels like your own.
Create Something From Scratch
Have a silhouette, mood, color story, event or half-formed idea in your head? That is my favorite kind of challenge. We can develop an entirely new piece together from concept to finished garment.
The best part is that it keeps changing.
My true passion is finding something new in every design. Even when I recreate one of my own pieces, I almost always change something. That might mean a different stitch, a different fiber, a shift in proportion, a new color combination, or a detail that did not exist in the first version.
The dog bandanas are a perfect example. They may begin from a similar idea, but they never end up exactly alike. That constant evolution is what keeps designing exciting for me—and it is why your commission will never feel like something pulled off an assembly line.

How a commission works
1. Tell me what you’re imagining.
Send the idea, occasion, inspiration images, colors, fit preferences or existing CMCrochet piece you love.
2. We shape the design together.
We talk through silhouette, size, fiber, color, details, budget and what matters most to you.
3. I make your version.
I design and crochet the piece by hand, allowing the final details to evolve as the garment takes shape.
Deposit & project start
Most commissions require a 50% deposit before work begins. This allows materials to be purchased and secures your place in the project schedule. The remaining balance is due according to the terms discussed for your piece.
Initial consultations are currently complimentary.
No commercial patterns. No mass production.
Every commission is designed and crocheted by hand. I do not work from commercial garment patterns or templates. Existing designs can inspire the starting point, but the finished piece is built around the person who will wear it.
