A Runway Story: From Sunrise to Sunset
The collection was inspired by the sunrises and sunsets of Fire Island, a place with deep meaning within queer culture and a meaningful source of inspiration for me as a queer designer. It begins in pale pinks and blues reminiscent of gorgeous early-morning skies, moves into the brightness of daylight, travels through greens and deeper tones as the sun begins to set, and closes in black nighttime looks punctuated with yellow like stars.
Every look is an original CMCrochet design. The runway was not simply a collection of garments; it was a progression from morning to night.

BEFORE THE BUSINESS HAD A NAME
Comfort was already part of the story.
On Fire Island, one of my handmade blankets became the center of an impromptu photo shoot while friends were telling me I needed to start my own business. The brand grew into runway fashion, one-of-one garments, accessories and custom work, but the instinct was already there: make something useful feel unmistakably designed.
That same idea carries into fall. More texture. More weight. Richer color. Still original from the first stitch forward.
