Textured Crochet Basket Purse | Original Runway Handbag

This original handmade crochet purse was designed with the structure and charm of a miniature woven picnic basket.

Dense acrylic crochet creates a dimensional basket-weave texture, while the circular construction gives the bag a sturdy sculptural shape. A short handmade handle allows the bag to be carried comfortably by hand or at the elbow.

Repurposed metal ring hardware connects the handle to the body of the purse, and small plastic beads form the closure.

The open bucket-style interior is unlined and intentionally simple.

This exact purse appeared as part of the From Sunrise to Sunset runway collection and is the only one available. This design will not be recreated, making the original piece truly one of one.

Spot clean gently using cool water and mild detergent. Avoid soaking the hardware or bead closure. Reshape as needed and lay flat to dry.
